|  Ous2ray was born in London, UK. At the age of 10, he moved to the Gambia with his parents were he continued the rest of his junior and senior school education. During that period, he began to learn about the rich cultures and traditions, languages, believes and the genres of music of the Gambia, appreciating and understanding every bit of it.
His love for Gambian music began when GRTS (the national Television station) started the TV program called “Extra touch” hosted by Lamin Manga. He saw the potential and talent that the artists delivered and made it a point of duty from that time to make sure that he plays a part in getting the music out to the mass public.
Along the way on his journey to promote Gambian music, he met Bakz Saho (the founder of Gam-Music Promotions) and from that point they immediately started working together as they both shared the same passion for music and the love for Gambia.
Ous2ray is a Civil Engineer by profession, but his passion is and will always be Music. And his dream is to make sure Gambian music gets out to the world and that the Gambian music industry can produce a unique genre of music that will be recognised worldwide.
